Vincent Van Gogh, Starry NightI am so excited!! I searched around in my area and found a nice little old lady that teaches an oil painting class. What!? You don't think I need lessons cause I'm already good? Well, thanks for the confidence boost, but oils/acrylics is not one of my best medium I feel. Which translates into- I don't have a technique that I am happy with. I had put school on hold right at the time I would've been taking all of those wonderful studio art classes, each of which are approx. 2hr and 45min long. And I wish I could go back now, but I chose to be a mother first and I can finish school later. In the meantime, I can do what I can to upkeep this talent of mine. And it's a great chance to learn from someone more experienced than I am. I'm thinking about joining the Newnan Artist Association here in my community, so this is the first step to getting my foot in the art world again. And I start Monday! Yay!

That's great! Just great! I feel like adults forget to practice their talents and do the things that made them purely happy as youth.
So congratulations for taking a step toward finding your passion again! Have fun!
