I don't have much time to post, but I don't have much time to do a lot of things lately. I was playing out in the yard with the boys yesterday, ohhhhing and awwwing over my garden, which is still very much in the pubescent stage of plant hood. Maybe the experts wouldn't agree, but the plants are teeny tiny. Erick was looking around for sticks and saying, "Pyoo pyoo," or however you spell shooting sounds. He was playing guns. It was so funny! I wasn't worried about trying to teach gun etiquette to a 2 year old yet, but he did say, "I'm going to pyoo you Mommy," then he pyood me, and said," it's alright Mommy," with a sweet, concerned face while stroking my cheek. He will be receiving instruction on proper use of guns as he gets older, but it was really funny watching him hold a stick like a shotgun up to the sky and pyooing imaginary things. I mean, how did he even learn the word Pyoo like that?! I would think most guns go Boom, or Bang and we don't own a shotgun and I don't think Erick even knows that we have a gun. Adam says it's just a boy thing, I concur.

So Easter came and went, along with my flowers that were trying to grow. I must have yelled at every kid at least three times to stay off of my flowers. They weren't all flattened, but maybe they'll bloom next year.I also dyed eggs with Erick and Sarah, that's my favorite part!
It was fun though. We had everyone here, and it was really good to see how huge my family has gotten. We're ready to start our own family reunion.
Too bad some of us live expensive-plane-tickets away. My grandmother also died a year ago, so we were able to go to the temple and get her work done for her. My mom is so excited to have had her parents sealed together and be sealed to them. I would be too!

So, we made a decision a while back not to watch rated R movies. And we just watched an awesome rated R movie, but we had ClearPlay, which is a DVD device that filters out the bad stuff. It is my compromise with Adam, and it has been going pretty well. Although I have a friend who says that she has a problem with supporting rated R films, but that's why I don't go and watch them in the theater. I figured I was actually supporting the person that cared enough to try to "clean"up movies. I really don't miss all the blood/violence, bad language, and nudity. In fact, I'm so glad that I did not have to watch Steve Martin make out with Claire Danes, who really wants to see that? Besides him and he wrote the film. By the way it is not the movie that we watched tonight.

Okay, I need some suggestions. Even though some may not know my mother-in-law, and even if you know who she is, you still may not know her, but her birthday is coming up. Like, next Wednesday! I want to shy away from the usual rooster present or earrings that she usually gets. She likes the outdoors, but then again, she gets a manicure regularly. She has a garden and some dogs and new baby chicks. She owns a loom and has woven rugs. And so if you have any suggestions- hurry, I don't have much time.
