Been a long time...

Well, I've been a little busy, but that is no excuse for leaving fans hanging. So, since I've missed most of January, here is an update:

New Year's Resolutions-
1. Cut down on soda(I drink too much of it)
2. Get healthier(notice the casualness of that)

I stopped at two... I'm not very goal oriented this year. I mean, I have long term goals already started from previous years that trump any new stuff.

Erick is doing really well at talking, for him I mean. If you haven't heard, he has his own language for things-
An airplane is a "shooooooo..", you know the sound that a plane makes. My mom got him a little toy airplane, and so I was asking him where his shoes where and he went around looking for his plane. Once we understood each other, we were able to leave out the door, but it was really funny.
He also knows the color green, but he says that it is green-sucker, sounds like "we-go-go", but it's funny considering when I was little, my training pants were called "potty-pants-on" cause mom would say, "Let's get your potty pants on!", and a bathing suit was a "baby suitcase".

Tripp is walking now. He was looking a lot like Pinocchio, but now he's a little more stable.

We just got back from a trip to Salt Lake to visit my brother and his family. Erick and his daughter, Karli, are so cute together. I promise to post pics as soon as I get them. The plane ride was horrible- we had to drive to Birmingham, fly to ATL and then to SLC, same for the return trip, to save $200 per ticket. Erick is now a paying customer. He also cried most of the flights. The short ones were fine, but the 3 1/2 hour long from GA to UT, and back were nothing but non-stop tears. I think I would have preferred to drive, but I prolly would be saying the same thing about flying if we had driven.

We got to see Temple Square and the Tabernacle as well as the new Conference Center. I got to visit with a good friend, Rachael and her family, and spend a ton of time with family. A week and a half was too long without Adam. I felt like I knew what those women were going through on that wife swap show. Except I wasn't going to receive $50,000 and I had to take my kids.

Got to run... glad to be back in my own bed, home, and state!

Hi Eve! I've been wanting to stay in touch better. Gosh--looks like you guys are well. I wish we could get together some time. Are you guys ever here in the area?

I'm glad you had such a good time. And plane trips with little ones are no fun at all - glad y'all survived!

Welcome back. What an adventurous plane ride home. But I'd do the same thing to save $200. We're looking for summer tickets to go out to Utah and they're SO expensive.
