Well, I feel like this week has been incredibly uneventful compared to last week, but that isn't a bad thing. Adam always asks, "So, we got anything going on tonight"? And usually we do, or I do, but that wasn't the case this week. I didn't even stay up late watching DVR'd TV shows that I love. I stayed up late reading a trilogy of books that I couldn't put down until I was finished, and another just came out. It has the usual vampire, werewolf theme going on that seems like the new genre nowadays, but without all the cussing and sexual content(Although the illustrations on the cover are pretty misleading). And no, I'm not behind the times and talking about the Twilight books again.
I'm trying to save my budget from the urges to go out and shop for little girl stuff. It's really hard because I like to be prepared. Very unorganized, but prepared. But we're working on it, well I am. We are also getting a new roof next week; hail and whatnot caused us to call upon the fix-it people and that's getting taken care of. Then last night, I mapped out a whole new and improved Olsen homestead, complete with several new closets, one new bathroom, and a more open and brighter kitchen. Oh the fun I could have if everything were free... for me... well just for this remodeling of my home. It's going to be fun anyway, just going to take a little longer than hoped for.

I don't have much time to post, but I don't have much time to do a lot of things lately. I was playing out in the yard with the boys yesterday, ohhhhing and awwwing over my garden, which is still very much in the pubescent stage of plant hood. Maybe the experts wouldn't agree, but the plants are teeny tiny. Erick was looking around for sticks and saying, "Pyoo pyoo," or however you spell shooting sounds. He was playing guns. It was so funny! I wasn't worried about trying to teach gun etiquette to a 2 year old yet, but he did say, "I'm going to pyoo you Mommy," then he pyood me, and said," it's alright Mommy," with a sweet, concerned face while stroking my cheek. He will be receiving instruction on proper use of guns as he gets older, but it was really funny watching him hold a stick like a shotgun up to the sky and pyooing imaginary things. I mean, how did he even learn the word Pyoo like that?! I would think most guns go Boom, or Bang and we don't own a shotgun and I don't think Erick even knows that we have a gun. Adam says it's just a boy thing, I concur.
